Jerel Olson is our lead pastor and was called to our church in March of 2019. He is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He has been married to Mistie D. Ivey since 1996 who is originally from Greensboro, NC. They have three sons; Jered, Kaeden, and Xane. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a BA in History in 1996. He received his Master’s of Divinity in Christian Education from Southeaster Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. He has served in a variety of capacities in ministry over the years; youth pastor, evangelism pastor, college & young adult, and as an associate pastor. He also has served as the “assistant to the regional manager.”
